Privacy Policy
Schools and Teachers
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers teachers and schools using the Financial Confidence Club programme in the UK and Nigeria. It does not cover any other service. Early Money Habits Ltd (company number 17149466) is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: Lara@earlymoneyhabits.com.
1. Who we are and who this policy covers
Early Money Habits Ltd ("EMH", "we") runs the Financial Confidence Club programme (the "Programme") for schools in the UK and Nigeria. This policy covers the teachers and schools who use the Programme. We keep it short because we collect very little.
2. What we collect and why we use it
Teacher name and email address. The school gives us each named teacher’s details. We use them to create a login, provide Programme access and support, and send licence notices such as renewal reminders.
Login activity. We can see which accounts open the Programme and when, so we can support schools and protect content from misuse.
Payment details. Our payment provider handles card payments. We see that a payment was made, its amount and its date, but not the full card number. We keep invoices and payment records.
Messages and community posts. We keep emails you send us. Posts in the Teachers’ Room can be seen by teachers from other schools and by us.
We use this information to carry out the school’s licence, and for our legitimate interests in supporting schools, protecting our content and keeping proper records. We also use it where the law requires, including for tax and accounting records. We do not use it for advertising or send marketing emails to teachers. Service emails are the only messages you will receive.
Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.Â
Â
Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.
3. Who we share it with, where it is stored and cookies
We never sell personal information. We share it only with:
• systeme.io, the platform that hosts the Programme, runs teacher logins and sends service emails. It is run by ITACWT Limited in Ireland. Its servers are hosted by Amazon Web Services in Ireland, and it states that data stays within the European Union. It publishes its own privacy policy and can see the details we put on the platform.
• Our payment provider, which takes card payments for us.
• Professional advisers, such as an accountant or lawyer, where we need advice.
• Authorities, where the law requires us to share information.
Schools in Nigeria send teachers’ details to us in the UK, and the platform stores them in Ireland. We take care to protect information wherever it is held.
Cookies. The platform uses cookies to keep teachers logged in and make the course work. These are needed for the Programme to function. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but the course may not work properly if you do.
4. How long we keep it, your rights and children’s information
How long we keep it. We keep teacher details while the licence is active. After the licence ends, we remove teacher accounts within 30 days. We keep invoices and payment records for as long as the law requires, then delete them.
Your rights. You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give it to you in a usable format. You can also object to how we use it. Email Lara@earlymoneyhabits.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission in Nigeria.
Children’s information. We do not ask for or collect information about pupils. Schools must not upload pupil names, photographs or other pupil information to the platform or post it in the Teachers’ Room. If you see pupil information anywhere in the Programme, please tell us and we will remove it.
5. Changes to this policy and how to contact us
We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters to teachers, we will email the school’s named teachers.
Questions about your information can go to Lara@earlymoneyhabits.com or earlymoneyhabits.com.
